Here’s my story

I have been an artist my entire life, from the moment I could hold a pencil. I grew up singing in my bedroom and in the shower, which later led to me entering my first talent show, to me performing at county and state fairs, to joining my first band, to recording my first album, to traveling the midwest singing everywhere, and anywhere I could. Music was my whole world, until I found photography. 

I bought my first camera with no intention of making it my career. I was a senior in high school and decided to spend all of my graduation money on a Nikon D3200, and my whole world changed. I can still remember documenting my first wedding like it was yesterday. That day changed everything, there was no turning back. 

Now I here I am, 5 years and thousands of photos later, living a life I never could have dreamed of. “Dream Job” is an understatement. I feel so incredibly blessed and humbled each and every day.

Here’s my heart

I don’t just want to take your photos. I want to document your life, your personalities, your love, your laugh, the way you see the world, the way your heart beats when you stand next your love. I want to laugh with you over coffee (or wine), run, joke, and get goofy right alongside you, and truly understand who you are, and what makes you the beautiful, radiant, perfect human beings that I am so blessed to work with. I want the real, the raw, the authentic. I want each and every one of my clients to be able to scroll through their gallery, page through their wedding album or pick up a photograph, and instantly go right back to exactly how they were feeling in those moments. The uncontrollable laughter, the way the wind felt on their faces, the unscripted moments, and the immense amount of love. I want to know you, every part of you, and truly tell your story in the purest, most authentic way possible.
